Study Plan

Feel free to tweak this to fit your schedule and timeframe. This is a suggestion, not a guarantee to a pass.

Day 1-



Day 2-

  • Test- Barron's Test A
  • Review REA I. Make true statements out of the detailed Explanations of Answers. Google what you are not familiar with even if it was a wrong answer choice. Make good notes that will help you on review day. 
  • Review topic for today is Shakespeare. Continue working on quizlets, reading textbooks, and exploring Wikipedia. Wikipedia Shakespeare and his major plays. Spend some time today exploring Shakespeare his plays and sonnets. Consider watching movies based on his plays. 
  • Practice

Day 3-

  • Test- Take REA II
  • Take the Official practice questions
  • Review this is day one for Vocabulary building. Use quizlets, textbooks, notes and blog posts to work on key vocabulary. Use numonics and other memory techniques to help you cement these terms and examples in your mind.
  • Practice

Day 4-

  • Test- Barron's Test B
  • Review REA II Make true statements out of the detailed Explanations of Answers. Google what you are not familiar with even if it was a wrong answer choice. Make good notes that will help you on review day. 
  • Review topic for today is Answering Multiple Choice Questions. Use your Barron's Textbook and REA to get tips and tricks. Remind yourself of the strategy behind test taking.

Day 5-

  • Test- CLEP Official
  • Read Exam Description
  • If you have a good score 50+ ideally closer to 60 or higher call and make an appointment for testing. Make sure to ask what you need, what you need to bring, how things work, location, etc. 
  • Review topic for today is Fiction and non-fiction. Use your REA, Barron's and Wikipedia to refresh your memory. Consider watching some movies. Use youtube or Itunes to watch preview or add information. 
  • Practice-

Day 6-

  • Test- Take REA III 
  • Review the topic for today is Drama. . Use your various textbook and Wikipedia to gain a firm grasp of the look of the various periods, the artists, and the major works. Put an emphasis on those pieces covered in the quizlets. 
  • Practice

Day 7-

  • Test - Barron's Test C
  • Review REA III Make true statements out of the detailed Explanations of Answers. Google what you are not familiar with even if it was a wrong answer choice. Make good notes that will help you on review day. 
  • Review the topic for today are the Must Know quizlets. Make sure you know not only the information on the quizlet but you really KNOW the pieces and terms. Wikipedia, and google the terms and works. Make them yours 100%.
  • Practice

Day 8-

  • Test - Review CLEP Official Make true statements out the correct answers. Google what you are not familiar with even if it was a wrong answer choice. Make good notes that will help you on review day. 
  • Review this is last day for Vocabulary building. Use quizlets, textbooks, notes and blog posts to work on key vocabulary. Use numonics and other memory techniques to help you cement these terms and examples in your mind.
  • Practice

Day 9-

  • Review notes. Mind map, create numonics, make sketches. Make the notes you took 'stick'. Continue to research the areas you feel weak in. 
  • Make sure you get enough sleep and are in prime condition for test day.

Day 10-

  • Test Day
  • Make sure you have everything you need. Cash, ID, Credit Card, a good breakfast.
  • Let me know you are going so I can pray for you.
