Remember when reading poetry to look at

3. Figures of Speech
4. Rhythm and Meter
5. Line Breaks
6. Stanza Breaks
Also remember, to ask questions like
Who is the speaker?
What is the structure?
What is the theme?
Are the grammar and meaning clear? Why or why not?
What are the important images and figures of speech?
Are there repetitive words or phrases? Why?
What is the tone?
What are the literary devices used in the poem?
